Another day, another Porsche 911 in for a full front-end protection install. Despite the recent addition of rain falling from the skies of Southern California, we haven’t seen much of a slow down in sports coupes and cabriolets coming in for paint protection. This is 2014 Porsche Carrera S Cabriolet came to us with only 500 miles on the odometer for a Suntek PPF C Premium clear bra install.
While not a GT or Turbo S, it’s still a pricey Porsche Cabriolet in “S” trim, starting at $115,000 before options. This 400-hp, PDK equipped Cabriolet does 0-60 in 4.3 seconds, which is quick enough to damage that immaculate Rhodium Silver Metallic paint job if not protected.
We installed a full front kit which covers the full bumper, full fenders, and full hood with no seams. Wrapped edges, heat sealed and paint was also detailed and prepped despite the low mileage. We understand the enthusiast, or appreciator of finely crafted luxury cars wants to protect their paint for a reason. It would be quiet counterintuitive to seal in dirt into the clear bra for years to come. Therefore, all our client’s vehicles that receive paint protection and clear bra from us get detailed including a full clay bar service prior to installation.
